EXPLORE THE HOUSE BOAT

FLOATING ÁLVARO is a practically non-existent concept in Portugal called "Floating House" (house that floats) and is located in the village of Álvaro (schist village), in the municipality of Oleiros.

This houseboat is a vessel powered by renewable energy. It was designed with materials with low environmental impact, uses technology that reduces the ecological footprint and incorporates a wastewater treatment plant using activated sludge.

Ideal for a getaway for two, a family vacation or a group of friends. Renting a space to read a book quietly by the river or even spend a few hours fishing are some of our suggestions.
Whenever you want to go on a tour, you will have a responsible and certified person on board who will take you for a walk along the river.
So you can spend all your time looking at the landscape, enjoying a drink on board or concentrating on reading.

Nature's freedom is literally within your home.
